 Tis the last rose of summer  Left blooming alone
All her lovely companions are faded and gone No flow"r of her kindred No rosebud is nigh To reflect back her blushes Or give sigh for sigh.  여름의 마지막 남은 장미 한송이 외로이 남아 꽃을 피웠네 
친구들은 모두 늙었거나 사라지고 친척도 없고곁에 장미봉오리조차 남은 게 없네 부끄러워하던 얼굴들을 서로 볼 수도  넋두리를 주고 받을 수도 없네    I"ll not leave thee, thou lone one To pine on the stem Since the lovely are sleepingGo, sleep thou with them Thus kindly I scatter Thy leaves o"er the bed Where thy mates of the garden Lie scentless and dead.   줄기라도 기억해 주기위해 외로운 그대 혼자 남겨 놓고 난 떠나지 않을래..  가서 친구들과 같이 잠들어요. 친구들이 떨어져 잠든 화단에 같이.. 잎파리 그대 잠든 위에 사뿐히 뿌려 줄 테니   So soon may I follow When friendships decay And from love's shining circle The gems drop away! When true hearts lie wither'd And fond ones are flown Oh! who would inhabit This bleak world alone   나도 친구들이 없어지면 곧 따라가야지  친숙하던 우정들이 사라지고 진실된 마음들이 없어지면  아까운 것들이 모두 다 없어집니다. 아! 누가 남아 살아갈까 이 황량한 세상에 혼자서
