     버스에 오르면 흔들리는 재미에
     하루를 산다.
     겨울이 가고 봄이 와도
     먹먹한 가슴 굳어만 갈 뿐
     나타나줄 것 같은
     비가 내리는
     어둔 저녁에도
     너는 없었다.
     대포집 앞에 서면
     부서지고 싶은 대가리
     대가리를 흔들면서
     전차길을 건넌다.

     댕그랑 땡
     미친 가슴처럼
     아스팔트 바닥에 쏟아지는
     통쾌한 중량(重量)의 동전닢
     버스에 오르면 울고 싶은 재미에
     하루를 산다.
     너는 말할 것이다,
     돌아가라, 돌아가라고. 
     그러면서도
     너는 내 눈을 지켜보며
     떠나지 않는 것이다.

     비는 내리는데
     숙명처럼
     나는 널 생각하고
     고뇌의 심연에
     빠져 버둥이는
     내 눈을 너는
     연민으로 내려다보고 있을 것이다.
     차라리 떠나라,
     아니면 함께 빠져주든가.
     가로수 잎이 트면
     그리고 보리이랑이
     강과 마을을 물들이면 
     나는 떠나갈 것이다.

  In the hour when the sun shines shines bright
  On my head in the city where I am alone,
  I never think of that once told story
  When two flowers almost were one
  But what to do?, I still think in the mornin of you.

  When darkness hovers and city lights take over
  I am blinded to the words "I am alone.
  Its useless to cry for a star in the sky,
  For the city lights tell me theres none
  But what to do?, I still cry in the mornin for you.

  When my head touches my pillow I am too weary
  To dare dream that I am alone
  Now I lay myself down to sleep,
  I pray the Lord his soul to keep is my song
