[스크랩] Misty / Ella Fitzgerald 외 비교감상

Misty Erroll Garner 1954년 비행기 창밖으로 내려다 보이는 '샌프란 시스코'해변의 짙은 안개를 보면서 작곡했다는 'Erroll Garner'의 명곡. 참고로 아침 7시경에는 안개가 심하지만,10시 이후엔 감쪽같이 사라진다. 1971년 클린트 이스트우드 주연의 '어둠속에 벨이 울릴 때 (Play Misty For Me)' 라는 영화의 O.S.T 이기도하다. Ella Fitzgerald 솜사탕처럼 부드럽게 흐르는 인상적 멜로디는 그 후 조니 버크가 가사를 붙여 Ella Fitzgerald, Bille Holliday, Sarah Vaughan 등등.. 많은 보컬과 연주자에 의해서 리메이크 연주 되었다. 같은 곡이라도 느낌이 다를 수는 있겠지만 그 본래의 투명함만은 그대로 간직되어있지요.. 감상해 보실까요~ Look at me, i'm as helpless as a kitten up a tree; And i feel like i'm clingin' to a cloud, I can' t understand I get misty, just holding your hand.
