[스크랩] Smokie - Mexican Girl, Needles and Pins (+ The Seachers)

mistyblue 2011. 9. 1. 17:10

Needles and Pins는 서쳐스(The Searchers)의 곡을 리메이크한 것인데 Sony and Cher의 Sonny Bono가 작곡한 곡이다.

Mexican Girl

 F                                                                                    Bb

Juanita came to me last night and she cried over and over

Uuh Daddy I love you, you know and I think it's the moonlight.

      F

She looked so fine well she looked allright and she moaned

                         Bb            C

Oh Daddy move over Oh baby you know what I like

                               F                    Bb      C7

and I think it's the moonlight.

F

Made in Mexico schooled in France

                                        Bb

Oh-la lovin' she needs no teachin'

     C                                                                  F    C7

Oh Man I can say international ways I believe in.

(Chorus)

              Bb

Mexican girl don't leave me alone

           F

I got a heart as big as a stone

          C

And I need you believe me to be

                                    F      C7

here and love me tonight.

             Bb

Mexican Girl I want you to stay

                      F

You know my heart is longing to say

            C                                Gm

That as long as I live will always

                       Bb                          C

remember the one that I called

                    F

My mexican girl.

Her skin was soft as the velvet sky and her hair

It shone in the moonlight.

And as the music did play well the night turned to day

And I held her tight.

The she looked at me with her dark brown eyes and she

whispered "Hasta La Vista!"

Well I don't know what that means but it sounded

So good so I kissed her.

Mexican girl don't leave me alone.

I got a heart as big as a stone

And I need you to believe me to be

here and love me tonight.

Mexican Girl I want you to stay

You know my heart is longing to say

That as long as I live will always

remember the one that I called

My mexican girl.

Needles and Pins

                A
I saw her today, I saw her face
                          F#m
It was the face I loved and I knew
                    A                                                        F#m
I had to run away and get down on my knees and pray
That they'd go away
                     A
But still they begin
                     F#m
Needles and pins
                            D
Because of all my pride
                             E
The tears I gotta hide

Hey, I thought I was smart, I wanted her
Didn't think I'd do, but now I see
She's worse to him than me
Let her go ahead, take his love instead
And one day she will see

Just how to say please
And get down on her knees
Yeah, that's how it begins
She'll feel those needles and pins
a-hurtin her, a-hurtin her

E  D#   D  C#

                                            B
Why can't I stop and tell myself I'm wrong, I'm wrong, so wrong
A                                                             G#
Why can't I stand up and tell myself I'm strong

                         C#
Because I saw her today, I saw her face
                           A#m
It was the face I loved and I knew
                    C#                                                       A#m
I had to run away and get down on my knees and pray
That they'd go away

                   C#
But still they begin
                    A#m
Needles and pins
                             F#
Because of all my pride
                           G#
The tears I gotta hide
                          C#
Ah, needles and pins
Needles and pins
Needles and pins
