              마음이 울적할 때

              저녁 강물 같은 벗 하나 있었으면

              날이 저무는데

              마음 산그리메처럼 어두워올 때

              내 그림자를 안고 조용히 흐르는

              강물 같은 친구 하나 있었으면

              울리지 않는 악기처럼 마음이 비어 있을 때

              낮은 소리로 내게 오는 벗 하나 있었으면

              그와 함께 노래가 되어

              들에 가득 번지는 벗 하나 있었으면

              오늘도 어제처럼 고개를 다 못 넘고 지쳐 있는데

              달빛으로 다가와 등을 쓰다듬어주는 벗 하나 있었으면

              그와 함께라면 칠흑 속에서도

              다시 먼 길 갈 수 있는 벗 하나 있었으면
